A short PSA to reframe how NYU students think about caring for their mental health
Challenge
Too many students struggling with mental health were not reaching out for help, and so New York University engaged us to help combat the stigma around counseling.
Solution
In speaking with NYU’s counselors, we were inspired by the examples they shared. For instance, one counselor said, “If you break your arm, you see a doctor. Why don’t we think this way when it comes to mental health?”
We realized we needed to reframe the conversation by showing how every problem has a solution and struggles with mental health are no different.
